The 2012 Ellen M. Bozman Affordable Housing Award was shared by recipients Jerry Morris, Michael Foster and the Church at Clarendon as well as Dr. Leonard Hamlin Sr. And the Macedonia Baptist Church for their work towards meeting housing needs of the community.
The long-term vision of the individuals and the churches produced 100+ much needed affordable housing options in the community. The planning process also relied on mix-use concepts that provide access to daycare, a business incubator, and a resident business center.
